As was recently announced, the College of Education's professional advisor on the Chicago campus, Lily Castillo, will begin a maternity leave on Monday January 6, 2014. Consequently, the College of Education is making some temporary adjustments to provide advising to Chicago students until Lily returns from her leave on April 8, 2014.
Prior to her leave, Lily will be available via email at email@example.com for advising and guidance about Spring 2014 registration. Lily also can be reached between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, at 312-623-7986 on all days when the university is open.
Beginning January 6, Ligia Amarei will be available to assist Chicago campus students with their advising needs. Please contact Ligia at firstname.lastname@example.org or 847-240-4093 to set up an advising appointment or to communicate any questions or concerns. Ligia will be available on a limited basis for face-to-face advising in the Wabash Building. Details about her hours of availability at the Wabash Building will be communicated soon.
While Lily is on her leave, the College of Education will do everything possible to ensure that the advising needs of Chicago students are met as quickly as possible. Please contact the following clerical staff if you need assistance, and they will either set up an appointment for you or get back to you with an answer to your question:
Janice Stashwick (8:30 am – 1:30 pm)
Betty White (Monday – Thursday 1 pm – 6 pm, Fridays 1 pm – 5:00 pm)
Again, congratulations to Lily on the birth of her baby boy!
