The American Theater Company in Chicago is currently working on a production called Greensboro: A Requiem which uses first-person interviews to document the Greensboro Massacre on November 3rd, 1979 which was a direct result of Greensboro, North Carolina police collaborating with the American Nazi Party and the Ku Klux Klan. The production team wants to use the telling of this story to open a dialogue on current events, and the ensemble is made up of Chicago public high school students.
The show opens July 16th and runs through August 2nd. College students and teachers pursuing licensure or endorsements are invited to attend. If you have questions or want to arrange to attend, please contact Marisa Adame at email@example.com or call the Box Office at 773.409.4125.
