Participants Needed For Elementary Test Pilot

Evaluation Systems Group of Pearson will be conducting pilot testing of multiple choice questions developed for the Illinois Licensure Testing System (ILTS) program in Elementary Education.  Participation in a pilot test is an excellent opportunity for educator preparation students to view test questions that may appear on future test forms and practice their test-taking skills. 
 
Pilot Test Dates. Pilot testing will be offered from February 8 – March 4, 2016.
 
Pilot Test Participants.  To be eligible to participate, examinees must meet at least one of the following criteria:
·        Be a junior, senior or graduate student currently enrolled in an educator preparation program and preparing for educator certification/licensure at the elementary level, or,
·        A practicing educator recently certified/licensed at the elementary level with no more than 3 years teaching experience
 
Note: College and university faculty members are NOT eligible to take pilot tests for the ILTS program.
 
Pilot Test Incentives. Participants will receive their choice of a $75 ILTS test fee voucher or $50 Barnes & Noble eGift Card for each test form completed as instructed.Vouchers may be applied towards future ILTS testing fees. (Please note that ILTS test vouchers cannot be used towards test fees in other testing programs.) Participants may take up to two (2) test forms and can earn up to $150 in test fee vouchers OR up to $100 in Barnes & Noble eGift Cards.
 
Pilot Test Locations. Pilot testing will be held at Pearson VUE test centers throughout Illinois.
 
Starting January 25, students can register at www.pearsonvue.com/espilot.
 
Each test form will take approximately 120 minutes to complete.
