Jan. 26 Early Childhood Publication Celebration

The Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE), working in partnership with the Illinois Education Research Council (IERC), will soon publish a monograph entitled Voices From the Field.  This monograph highlights the work of the 2014-15 and 2015-16 Early Childhood Educator Preparation Program Innovation (EPPI) grant recipients.  In the monograph, faculty partners from two- and four-year institutions describe their approaches to redesigning early childhood educator preparation programs in light of state and regional workforce needs and with a particular emphasis on creating articulated pathways toward credential and degree completion. Two Roosevelt faculty members--Toni Potenza and Jinah Kim--have written chapters for this monograph.

Roosevelt's College of Education will host a celebration of this monograph and all of the faculty contributors to Voices from the Field on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 3:30-6:00 p.m. at Roosevelt University's College of Education in downtown Chicago.  The reception will be held in Room 700 of the Gage Building, at 18 South Michigan Ave. Admission is free and open to all Roosevelt students, faculty and alumni.
